Static website – A static website is written in plain HTML. Each page is a separate document and there is no database that is depicts on. Editing is not easy with static website as one has to go into each page to make modifications in tags. It can be done with webpage editor like Dreamweaver, FrontPage and more.
Dynamic website – On the other hand, dynamic website is written on a composite code. The user can simply sign in and can change different sections of a website with ease. As each page is built on the basis of details available in database, it is quite simple to add, edit and delete any part of the dynamic website.
As dynamic website requires more complex coding, content management system and user-friendly interface so it costs more than static websites. It is recommended to choose dynamic website when you want full control over you website. Moreover, the size of the data management system can be expended if and when required.
